How To Order Plate |
|
|
In specifying Perforated Screen Plate for vibrating screens, the following information should be given:
Quantity: State the number of
Perforated Screen Plate of the same thickness, width, length,
perforation and bars.
|

|
-
Thickness: Specify in inches or gage number.
-
Metal: State the kind of metal required.
-
Width: The "width" is the dimension at right
angles to the flow of material. Specify the overall width. If hook
flanges are required, specify: width (measured outside the hook
flanges).
-
Length: The "length" is the dimension of the
Perforated Screen Plate that is parallel to the flow of material
being screened. Specify the overall length.
-
Perforation Size & Shape: State the desired
perforation size and shape.
-
Arrangement of Perforations: Staggered
arrangement (60 degree pattern) is the standard. Perforations are
normally staggered in the direction of the flow of the material
being screened.
-
Bars: The "bar" is the metal between
perforations and is measured at the point where perforations are
closest. Specify the width of the bar.
-
Hook Flanges or Bolt Holes: Specify whether
the plate has hook flanges or bolt holes. For hook flanges specify
the type required. For bolt holes a sketch showing location size and
type of the bolt holes.
-
Margins: If specific blank margins are
required on the sides and/or ends of the plate, please specify the
width.
-
Crown: If a screen plate is to be "crowned",
state the amount of the crown measured at the centerline.
-
Other Information: For slotted perforations
- specify whether the long dimension of the slot is parallel with
the width or length of the plate. For screens requiring "skid bars"
to scalp off oversize material, specify bar size and location. It is
also helpful to include the make, model and size of the plant.
